“QUEENS NOT KINGS”
Love speaks louder than
A local politician tried to insult me with a nickname, but the truth is simple: I’ll take a community that embraces freedom and joy over a City Council that acts like petty kings trying to punish anyone who disagrees with them.
All over the country, millions of Americans have voiced their frustrations through the No Kings protests demonstrating an unwillingess with politicians who choose an iron-fisted, top-down approach to public service.
Freedom is to be cherished and having a choice, I choose Queens over Kings all day every day.
How’d we get here?
What started as a simple appeal to City Council for civility and a clear vision for the future of our city, crumbled quickly with personal attacks on me and fellow business leaders in this community (WSET article). Accountability means listening, reflecting on that feedback, and responding with wisdom on how to move forward as a voice to the people. How far we have come to reach that bar!
“Those who deny freedom to others, deserve it not for themselves.”
This is 2026, not 1776!
In the last 250 years, we should have learned what freedom means. When I stood up for our community, I was astounded by the type of unnaccountable politicians our forefathers fought to stop.
I am running for City Council as a public servant looking to get our city leadership back to the business of paving roads, funding schools, and growing our economy for its citizens.
You were elected to serve ... To lead, not to bully. To bring dignity to our city, not disgrace.
